Primary Sunday School program
"But Jesus called the children to him and said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.” Luke 18: 16-17
Our Primary Sunday school program is held Sundays at the Temple, beginning at 11:30 am during the service. Our children learn about God's love through song, scriptural teaching and play. Prior to Sunday school classes, there is an "open" Sunday school (often a sing-along).
Primary Sunday Classes are grouped by age: Toddlers, 3-4 years, 5 years, 6-7 years. All are welcomed!
Nursery:
The nursery and middle room are available for parents with small children or infants during the service.
Ready to serve ( grades 2 -6) Junior Soldiers preparation
The newly written junior soldier preparation course provides young people between the ages of 7-12 with a clear understanding of what if means to be a soldier for God, and a soldier within The Salvation Army. This course has been written to give the young people an understanding and assurance that with God's help they can live up to the Junior Soldier Promise they are asked to make at the end of the 6 week course.
